Tap out of the hustle and bustle that comes with your schedule and devote a whole week to surfing and intentionally studying God’s word.
When we aren’t in the water or on the beautiful beaches of Costa Rica, we will be diving deep into scripture learning “What does it mean to be a Godly man / woman?”
During surf sessions and meals, men and women will be together. We’ll separate to go in depth and study what a Godly man / woman looks like and how we can bring this into our everyday lives.
Food, lodging and transportation in Costa Rica will all be handled.

What will the typical day on this trip look like?
A typical day on this trip will be as followed:
Wake up for a sunrise session, surf for about 2 – 3 hours. Come back to the BNB and eat breakfast as a group. After, we’ll break off (Girls in one section, guys in another) and dive deep into scripture to learn and study what it means to be a Godly man / woman. We’ll come back together for lunch, followed by an afternoon surf / adventure. After, we’ll break off again, and pick up where we left off in the scriptures, continuing to study the theme of the week “What does it mean to be a Godly Man / Woman?” We’ll end the day with dinner together and a testimony from a leader followed by worship.
What are the waves like and what skill level should I be?
Surf is for all levels from beginner to advanced, beach breaks, point breaks, warm water, and very friendly surf culture.
What if I can’t surf or the waves are flat, is there something else I can participate in?
It is very unlikely the surf will be flat… but for some crazy reason it is flat, there are so many other fun things to do in Costa Rica! Waterfall and jungle hikes, fishing, Coffee plantation visit, snorkeling, the list goes on and on!
What are the sleeping accommodations like?

When will registration open? How much will the trip cost?
September 1st registration will open. Space is limited on this trip so please be ready to sign up on September 1st. If you have any questions please contact us prior to this date.
All of our trips at Christian Surfers we do our best to keep the cost as affordable as possible. We want this trip to be between $1,100-$1,500. We are still working on the exact details so we do not have the exact amount yet.
What does the registration fee include and not include?
Place to stay, 3 meals a day, travel to and from airport/surfing/ministry outreach. Does NOT include airfare (there will be a required airport to fly into), board/gear rentals, souvenirs or any extra snacks or food that you want.
What if I can’t make it last minute, do I get a refund?
There will be a deposit of $600 that is non-refundable, the remainder may be refunded within a certain time frame. Due to the efforts of planning on our team and the accommodations that will be booked ahead of time, a full refund is not available.
Is Costa Rica Safe?
Yes, Costa Rica has been known as the safest Central American country in Central America for many years. Most people speak both English and Spanish. We will have a great team of leaders who have lots of experience leading teams and traveling in Costa Rica. Your safety is a top priority and this is a very good first mission trip to go on to gain experience and confidence serving God in another country.
