Come explore the offshore barrels of Nicaragua and experience God’s love. We will be sharing testimonies and exploring our faith deeper. We will also have daily devotion time and serve alongside two amazing local ministries and will have daily opportunities to surf and grow in our surfing ability and relationship with God. This trip is only open to the frothing young male groms Ages 13-17

What will the typical day on this trip look like?
Surf in the morning before breakfast, breakfast time together and a devotional time, partnering with the local ministry and where they are serving. Possible afternoon surf together. Sharing dinner together and having a time of testimonies and bible study time.
What are the waves like and what skill level should I be?
Hollow and fast with off shore winds, mixed levels, beach break/point break/reef break, beginner-advanced. 2-3 foot on average with a chance of 4-6 foot surf if we have a solid south swell.
What if I can’t surf or the waves are flat, is there something else I can participate in?
This trip is a groms surf and serve trip. We will have plenty of opportunities to surf. If you don’t have a bug for surfing it might be better to join another trip as we will be surfing at least once a day some days twice a day.
What are the sleeping accommodations like?
We will be staying in bunk rooms at Ride Natures house and the same at the Way Church in Popoyo.
When will registration open? How much will the trip cost?
6 months prior to the trip. Space is limited and cost is $850 per person.

What does the registration fee include and not include?
Place to stay, 3 meals a day, travel to and from airport/surfing/ministry outreach. Does NOT include airfare (there will be a required airport to fly into), board/gear rentals, souvenirs or any extra snacks or food that you want.
What if I can’t make it last minute, do I get a refund?
There will be a deposit of $300 that is non-refundable. Due to the efforts of planning on our team and the accommodations that will be booked ahead of time, a full refund is not available within a month of the trip.
Any other specifics about this trip that I should know?
FLIGHT REQUIREMENTS: Must arrive in Nicaragua airport on 4/21 or within the time window required by the team.
What about food?
cooking meals together, eating local foods
What about amenities?
wifi, flushing toilets, showers, fresh drinking water, AC. On the groms trip we will be collecting cell phones at the beginning of the trip and passing them back at the end of the trip.
How much does it cost to fly my boards?
This will depend on what airlines you fly on. You can plan on spending between $50-$150 to fly your boards down.
