Panama Surf & Serve 2022

Whether you are looking to strengthen your relationship with God, get out of your comfort zone, serve, keep yourself in check, or reconnect with God, this trip will do it for you! Panama was a trip that I will take with me wherever I go! The surf was awesome at La Punta! and trust me, after you serf this spot, I guarantee you, you will drop in any wave you come across! We were blessed to have beautiful weather and pumping waves all week long!

One of my personal highlights of the trip was serving. During our time in Panama, we took 4 days to build a concrete floor for a local family. We had no cement trucks, and no mixers, just a couple of shovels, a wheelbarrow, and a lot of hands! Seeing the family being touched and blessed by a concrete floor was my highlight, it might sound simple, but it changed their life, literally! There is more work to do, and I know God will continue to work in the community of Santa Catalina, and if you are reading this post, consider it, it will change your life too!

Being an all-guys trip was super cool! Every day we had our devo time, plus testimonies. For me, seeing the groms, young men, and the wiser men share their testimonies was an awesome experience. During our devo time we dove into the book of Joshua, and discussed what we learned from God, from others, and how we could apply the passages to our lives. It was super cool to see how the wiser men poured their wisdom into the younger men, and how the younger men poured theirs into the groms!

Personally, I had the chance to meet some of the most genuine people, make friendships that will last a lifetime, and reconnect with a good friend! I know everyone in this trip would agree, God really showed up for us and made this trip a special one! As God called Joshua to be strong and courageous, he calls us to do the same, in our lives, our families, our friendships, wherever we go, and in whatever we set ourselves to do for his glory. Be Strong and Courageous!
