Spend time in creation with the creator. Let Him speak to you, listen, be patient, and trust in Him. The things He has promised and ordained will come to be, in His timing not ours. Rest in those promises.

Jesus often retreated into the wilderness to be alone with his father. Removed from the distractions of daily life He connected on a whole other level with God. He would be rejuvenated in spirit and filled up, returning ready to again pour out Gods love into his community and the world.

What is your wilderness? How do you separate yourself from the distractions of this world in order to grow deeper intimacy with the Lord?
