CS is about experiencing life to the full in community.
It’s why we’ve shaped everything around local chapters who surf together, grow together, and impact their surf town together. And every other year, we get the whole country together to see how wild things can get.
This July 31st – Aug 4th, you’re invited to the CSUS National Gathering. We’ll start each morning surfing together, then cruise over to North Coast Calvary Chapel for the only event of it’s kind to combine surfing, faith, fun, and great friends (new and old). Experience awesome speakers, hang with some pros and insiders from the surf industry, enjoy insightful break out sessions, amazing music and games, and opportunities for hikes and bonfires on the beach.
- Come to grow in your faith.

SCHEDULE AND MEALS:
•Is this a training conference just for leaders?
No, this is a gathering of the tribe. We’re stoked on everyone from leaders to first-timers or folks who aren’t even a part of CS! There will be training options as well as some really great surprise guests.
•Is this on a cruise ship or just a fun theme for an event on land and at the beach?
Just a fun theme for an event on land and at the beach.
•Is there Childcare?
No childcare is provided.
•What ages can attend?
All ages. There will not be child care, but we don’t mind the tiniest of surfers there (even surfing babies) or “Legends” who who were around during the beginning of our mission back in the day! Come one, come all.
•Will I need a wetsuit?
Summer water temps in So-Cal can vary. For late July, be prepared for anywhere from a full or partial 3/2, to a 1-2mm top, to (fingers crossed) maybe even no rubber for the hardy. We recommend checking Surfline local temps for Carlsbad as the event approaches.
•Can I sponsor the event?
Yes! Email firstname.lastname@example.org for sponsorship opportunities.
•Can I sleep in my car/van in the church parking lot?
Sorry brah, that’s a negatory.
