This is a Surf & Serve trip to Jeffreys Bay, South Africa — one of the world’s most iconic surf destinations. Our mission is to partner with ChristianSurfers South Africa and serve their local community with humility, joy, and purpose. Throughout the week in J-Bay, we’ll be fully engaged in ministry — supporting local events, hosting prayer nights, teaching surf lessons, and stepping in wherever CS South Africa needs us most. After our time there, we’ll take a road trip to Cape Town, chasing waves along the coast and experiencing the beauty of God’s creation together. The heart behind this trip is simple: to serve first, and surf second. While there will be moments of adventure and enjoyment, this is not a vacation. It’s a mission. We are going to give, to support, and to be available. Travel will be demanding, and the surf conditions are advanced. Jeffreys Bay is known for powerful, world-class waves, and participants should feel confident in challenging surf. If you’re uncomfortable in more difficult conditions, this may not be the right trip for you. This is an opportunity to grow spiritually, serve wholeheartedly, and experience the ocean in a way that points back to its Creator.
