This is the third regional Christian Surfer campout for the Pacific Northwest. The campground is nestled in a remote stretch of wilderness on the coastline of Northern California. It’s a raw, beautiful landscape that makes you feel like you are in another world. This campout is for those who are currently involved with CS, those who might be interested in joining and for anyone who loves a wild surf adventure. The goal for the regional campout is to gather the local chapters together for a time of encouragement, fellowship, and adventure. The days are filled with hunting for waves and fish, connecting with others and creation and lots and lots of camp coffee. Every night around the campfire we will be hearing stories from surfers in the community about how Jesus has impacted their life. We camp on the beach with stunning backdrop of a thick forest of redwoods and ferns. It’s a place unlike any other. You just have to come to see for yourself!

    what's the week look like?

Lots of surfing, fishing, devotionals and time together. Every night around the campfire, we will be hearing stories from surfers in the community about how Jesus has impacted their lives.

    Before you go

This is a raw camping on the beach, an adventure trip. This means NO AMENITIES. There is one outhouse toilet, but we will set up pop-up toilets if needed, which means either a big hole with a tent around it or a bucket with an attached toilet seat. We will pack it in, pack it out. No cell service. The campground is in a remote location with the closest gas station an hour away.
SURFING: The wave is an unpredictable beach break that is fast and dumpy with occasional sneaky barrels. Extremely variable depending on the wind and swell. If there’s enough swell there’s a right point break that works, and last year it was going off!! Never know what you’re gonna get, but that’s part of the adventure.

    FISHING:
There is a creek that might have some fish that will bite, but there’s always the surf perch from the beach that are always hungry. Bring your own fishing gear and license; it will not be provided.

    VEHICLE:
You need an off-roading vehicle such as an AWD or 4WD. The main road getting into camp is a 45-minute dirt road that is rough and bumpy. A car with good suspension is important.
