Come join us for the 3rd annual Warm Water Campout on the iconic North Shore of Oahu! We will be staying at Camp Homelani, which is a Salvation Army Camp that sits RIGHT on the beach in front of an amazing surf break you can walk to in 1 minute. The address is 68-243 Olohio St., Waialua, HI 96791, if you want to check it out! To explore other surf breaks, the camp is 10 minutes away from other popular surf breaks like Ali’i Beach Park, Puena Point, and Laniakea. Pipeline and Sunset Beach are about 25 minutes away if you want to surf a heavier wave. Even if you don’t surf, there is plenty of time to explore nearby areas, walk around Haleiwa town, drive to waterfalls, go on hikes, and enjoy many beautiful beaches. Camp can hold up to 200 guests!

What will the accommodations look like? Cabins are bunk bed style and split into guy/girl cabins that sleep about 16-20 people each. Bathrooms are in adjacent buildings next to the cabins and have indoor and outdoor showers. There are no separate cabins for families, however, you are welcome to bring your own tent and camping gear and tent camp with your family/spouse in the grass area in front of the cabins. Please note: Camp pricing is the same whether you are tent camping or sleeping in the shared bunks.

What will the food be like? What if I have an allergy? Food is cafeteria style buffet that the Camp Homelani staff cooks. The food is ono and super yummy! It will be a mix of local Hawaiian food and other style meals to keep us fueled for multiple surf sessions each day. Camp includes breakfast and dinner, lunches will be on your own so you can have the day to go out and explore, surf, and adventure without having to be at the camp in the middle of the day. Allergies: Some allergies like peanut and vegetarian options are available, the camp does not guarantee to accommodate celiac or gluten free campers. If you are celiac or GF, please reach out and we will give you a discounted camp price without the food included. They will happily let you use the camp microwave and refrigerator space to store some food for yourself. This option is only available if the camp cannot accommodate your allergies!

Can I get a refund? There will be a non-refundable deposit of $50 to hold your spot. The remaining balance is refundable up to one month out, a 50% refund is available until 2 weeks out, and after that, we will be unable to submit refunds due to the amount of work and payments to Camp Homelani already completed for your camp spot.

How much does it cost to fly a board? Varies depending on the airline company you choose. Inner-island flights with Hawaiian Airlines have ka’amaina discounts for free surfboards, and Southwest is free for inner island flights as well. From the mainland, Alaska Airline has great board fees, usually only $30 for a board under 50 lbs.

Can I fundraise for this trip? Absolutely! Feel free to reach out if you are tight on funds for resources on how to fundraise and for ideas on how to raise funds and come on the trip. We also have a small amount of limited scholarships available for Hawaiian based ministry partners.
