The closest airport is Norfolk, VA, about 2 hours away from camp. If flying in, please plan accordingly with rental cars. Rides may be available if Staff or Virginia Beach chapter members have space, but not guaranteed.
The Outer Banks is one of the longest stretches of surfable coastline on the East Coast; there are waves up to an hour north of camp and up to 2 hours south of camp. Plan your strikes accordingly, and carpooling from camp is heavily recommended.
Atlantic Surf Park in Virginia Beach is close to 2 hours or more north. If you plan to surf the park, please try to schedule early slots so you do not miss the afternoon sessions. The entire morning is open until 4 PM.
