Every 3 years the Christian Surfers chapters and members in the North, Central, and South America region come together for a time of fellowship, encouragement, and to share stories and updates from their regions. We will be bringing a team to represent the US and to spend intentional time together while meeting and uplifting our fellow brothers and sisters in the rest of the America’s region, and to further unify our family on mission as we share Jesus to surfers and surf communities around the world! This trip will consist of attending the 6 day conference, surfing together, and strengthening our relationships with the other American countries by serving, praying over each other, and surfing together in Brazil!

what's the week look like?

Schedule subject to slight change Nov 2= arrive in Garopaba Nov 3= learn to surf day with local kids + VBS, free time to surf + explore Nov 4= free surf, devotionals, hike, surf + bonfire with local CS chapter Nov 5= free surf, travel to Florianopolis for CS Americas conference Nov 6-7= attend the CS America’s conference, surf or explore during down time with other CS conference attendees Nov 8= last day of conference, check out and fly home (or continue your own travels in Brazil/surrounding areas?…)

Before you go

Make sure that your passport will be valid for at least six months beyond the intended departure date. Have at least two to four blank pages in your passport for visas or entry stamps. Visas can be obtained through an online application, and you can expect to pay around $80 USD for a tourist visa (valid for up to 90 days).

What will the accommodations look like?
We will be staying near the conference in an Airbnb or home together.


What will the food be like? What if I have an allergy?
When we are not eating at the conference, we will be cooking at the house where we will be staying and occasionally can eat out depending on our schedules. We will do our best to accommodate allergies, feel free to reach out with any concerns or questions!


Can I get a refund?
There will be a non-refundable deposit of $100 due to holding a spot and booking an airbnb ahead of time. Due to the extensive planning, after 3 weeks prior to the trip, a full refund is not available.


How much does it cost to fly a board?
Varies depending on your airline company. Some popular airlines like LATAM will be close to $150 one way for boards. American Airlines also flies to Brazil and fees are around $45 each way.
